Is there a specific dress code?
The dress code for the wedding is black tie optional. We encourage men to wear a tuxedo or dark suit. Women are encouraged to dress in formal wear. For Mass, women are permitted to wear off the shoulder attire.
Are children allowed?
We respectfully ask you leave the little ones at home. Thank you for understanding!
Will there be parking at the reception?
Elstowe Manor offers complimentary valet for the duration of the reception. Should you find yourself having too much fun at the reception, cars will be allowed to stay overnight for pick up in the morning.
Is the ceremony and/or reception outdoors?
The ceremony will be held in a church and our reception will be held indoors at Elstowe Manor. However, weather permitting, guests are encouraged to explore the estate grounds throughout the evening.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Our venue has a limitation on the number of guests we can accommodate, and unfortunately, we're unable to extend plus ones to all guests. We truly hope you can still join us and share in our special day.
What time should I arrive?
Mass starts promptly at 1:00 pm. We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early to account for traffic. Parking is available at the Basilica.
Cocktail hour at Elstowe Manor begins at 5:30 pm.
What should I do after Mass ends and before the reception starts?
Colloquially known as the "Catholic gap," there is approximately 3 hours in between the end of Mass and the start of cocktail hour. See the "things to do" tab for fun options before heading to Elstowe Manor.
